1867 Stamps of India, 1 and half ¢ on and half anna blue Mint Straits Settlements Stamps (Overprinted in Red). Indian stamps were used until the Straits Settlements became a separate colony on 1st September 1867. Octagonal cancellations with 'B172' was used in Singapore until it was replaced by a duplex type in 1865. All Straits Settlements issues were printed in typography by De La Rue & Co. Ltd.
