Setem2 ini di-keluarkan untok memperingati pameran Osaka Expo '70 yang mana Singapura menyertai-nya. Balai untok Singapura akan merupakan suatu kebun bunga tropika yang mengandongi bahagian okid, akurium, ayer terjun, kolam buaya dan tempat burong. Setem2 yang berwarna-warni ini membayangkan thema benda2 yang di-pamerkan oleh Singapura.

這套郵票是為紀念新加坡參加一九七O大阪博覽會而發行。新加坡將將建設一座熱帶花園的展覽館，內中包括胡姬組，水族館，瀑布，鱷魚坑與鳥園等。這套色彩鮮艷的郵票反映出新加坡展出的主題。

These stamps are issued to commemorate Osaka Expo '70 in which Singapore is participating. Singapore Pavilion will be a tropical garden featuring an orchid section, an aquarium, a waterfall, an alligator pit and an aviary. These colourful stamps reflect the theme of Singapore Exhibits.
